The Selangor government's offer documents to take over the four water concessionaires in the state will be ready in two weeks, said Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
He said the state executive council would deliberate the matter first before they are submitted to the companies concerned.
"We are not able to reveal the details for now. Details will be revealed once the offer is officially made through Selangor's Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI)," he told reporters after chairing the state executive councils' weekly meeting here Wednesday.
The four concessionaires are Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, (Syabas), Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd (PNSB), Syarikat Pengeluaran Air Sungai Selangor Sdn. Bhd (Splash) and Konsortium ABASS.
On other developments, Abdul Khalid announced that special financial assistance of RM500 would be given to Selangor government staff from Grade 1 to Garde 54 this month including temporary officers, contract staff and attachment teachers.- BERNAMA
